A Syrian Youth was Killed in Taksim

The Syrian young man, Sultan Abdul Baset Jabneh, died yesterday evening, Monday, of his injuries, after he was stabbed with a knife in front of his shop in the Taksim district of Istanbul, Turkey.


The “Kozal” page, which is interested in Syrian affairs in Turkey, said that the young Sultan, born in the city of Homs, died after being stabbed in front of his shop during a fight that broke out between two groups of Turkish youths in the Taksim area. The page added that the young Sultan had been married for two months.


While the page did not provide any additional details about the incident.
In a similar incident last December, the Syrian youth, Nayef Al-Nayef, from the village of (Harbnoush) in Idlib countryside, was stabbed to death in Istanbul by a gang of 8 people of Turkish and Afghan nationalities. The gang members claimed that they were from the police and stormed the young man’s house after breaking the doors, and stabbed the young man Nayef in the chest, as a result of which he lost his life.


And last Monday, the 21-year-old Syrian youth, “Sherif Al-Ahmad”, was killed in the Bagcilar district of Istanbul. There have been attacks from time to time against Syrian refugees in Turkey, amid the increasing hate speech against them spread by Turkish opposition parties, which use the Syrian refugee card to mobilize their supporters. in the upcoming presidential elections.
