Muharram Ince: I will not accept the return of the Syrian who goes on Eid to Syria
The presidential candidate of the Republican People’s Party, Muharrem Ince, answered questions on the program he attended on CNN Turk. Ince also answered the question regarding Syrian refugees.
Muharrem İnce is a Turkish physics teacher, and politician. He founded and is leader of the Homeland Party since May 2021. Formerly a four term Republican People’s Party (Turkish: Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi, abbreviated CHP) MP for Yalova, his hometown, he also served as the CHP’s parliamentary group deputy chairman between June 2010 and August 2014.
İnce said in the interview, “4.5 million Syrians live in Turkey. 72 thousand people go during the holiday, stay for 1 week and 10 days, then come back. If you can go and stay for 10 days and come back, stay there forever. What are you coming for, are you coming on vacation? It means your conditions are right. After I’m gone, I’ll close the door and you’ll stay. Is this a soup kitchen? “The people of my country are unemployed,” he said.
