A Syrian Refugee was Killed by his Co-Workers
A Syrian young man (married and father of two children) was shot dead on the evening of Monday, August 1, by his colleagues at work in Istanbul, and his wife appealed to the Turkish authorities to hold them accountable.
And Turkish media reported that the Syrian refugee, Mustafa Gulak, was shot by Turkish youths in the Sultanbeyli area in Istanbul, Turkey, which led to his death, without mentioning additional details.
According to local sources, Mustafa was killed in a furniture factory in Dudlu district in Istanbul, and that the police opened an investigation into the incident, and arrested a number of accused persons.
The wife of the victim published a video, in which she called on Turkish President Erdogan and people of conscience to follow up on the case of her husband’s murder and to hold the perpetrators accountable.
About 3.7 million Syrian refugees live in Turkey, who left Syria due to the violations practiced by the Assad regime and its allies over the past 11 years, while large numbers of them live in refugee camps, and in difficult living conditions, especially with the voices of some of the Turkish opposition that is constantly working on incitement against them.
