The Syrian Human Rights Committee confirms Greece’s use of excessive force
The Syrian Human Rights Committee confirmed the use of excessive and unjustified force by Greece in the operations of confronting asylum seekers.
The committee said: “The Greek forces are using excessive force and their weapons to repel asylum seekers coming from Turkey while they are trying to cross its territory.”
She added: “The Greek forces are forcing the refugees, after looting their property and severely beating them, to return to Turkey by throwing them at the border in inhumane ways.”
Recently, videos have spread on social media, interrupting a video documenting the Greek coast guard’s intentional sinking of refugee boats in the Aegean Sea, causing dozens of deaths, including entire families.
It is noteworthy that Greece follows an extremist racist policy in dealing with refugees coming to its lands, especially Syrians.
