Accusing the Turkish Municipality of Bursa of Organizing a Trip for the Syrians!

The Bursa municipality’s response to the Zefar party’s accusations was not delayed. A few hours after the claim was published, the mayor’s advisor, Farhat Murad, published a harsh response in which he attacked Zefar’s party, and Murad said, “If you are really practicing politics, instead of formulating the sentences “Mış” and “Muş” – known to be used in the Turkish language when describing an event that was not seen by the eye. Instead, you can find out the truth of the matter by asking the institution.”

Murad stressed that the Bursa municipality has nothing to do with organizing a trip for any youth group, whether Syrians or others, refutes the allegations of the Zefar party, while the municipality clarified in a statement issued by it that the trip, which was organized in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, targeted foreign students at Uludag University, The municipality indicated that there were multiple nationalities of students on the trip, not only Syrians, and stressed that spreading such lies is aimed at misleading.

Turkish media sites have previously said that the Turkish Ministry of the Interior has filed a criminal complaint against the leader of the Turkish “Zefar” party, Umit Ozdag, because of his “racist” statements against refugees, especially Syrians, through social media.
