Gaziantep Governor Responded to the Accusation that a Syrian Refugee Kidnapped a Turkish Girl
“Daoud Gul”, the governor of the Turkish city of Gaziantep, responded to the accusation of the leader of the “Zefar Party” of a Syrian refugee of trying to kidnap a Turkish girl, with a tweet in which he said, “The neighborhood is not Karatas, but the neighborhood of Abdul Hamid Han, and the aggressor is a Turkish national, not a Syrian.” He was walking and not driving, adding that the police brought the accused to court, not to the public prosecutor.
Ozdag had said, in a tweet on Twitter, that a Syrian young man driving a car tried to kidnap a young woman who was walking in the street in the Karatas neighborhood of Gaziantep, while she was listening to music with headphones in her ears, before Turkish citizens could help her and bring the gendarmerie officers and present the young man to the public prosecutor.
