Muharrem İnce: If I were President, I would send Syrians back

Homeland Party Leader Muharrem İnce said that he is not a fascist, but if he were the President, he would send the Syrians. The Chairman of the Country Party, Muharrem İnce, was the guest of Fatih Altaylı's One on One program on Habertürk TV.Answering Altaylı's questions, İnce talked about Syrian refugees in Turkey. Indicating that the stay of Syrian refugees has taken a long time, İnce continued his words as follows: "THE GUESTS Have been here for TOO LONG"

Hospitality has taken a long time, it has become too much. I see a survival problem for the country. Turkey is a great state. It should help its neighbors when there is a problem. It should definitely embrace women, children, young people and the elderly.

The gates of the border are open. During the Eid-al-Fitr, 100 thousand people gather, go to their hometowns, and then return. If I were the President, I would close the door to those who go to their hometown during the holiday,so they can’t come back.

İnce has been known in Turkish politics as one of the fiercest voices of the main opposition since 2002, against the ruling Justice and Development Party (Turkish: Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi, abbreviated AKP) of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. He became well known through his speeches which were widely shared on the internet .
