The Governor of Hatay Prevents Umit Ozdag from Entering the City
The governor of the city of Hatay issued a statement on the reason for preventing Umit Ozdag from entering the city.
It is worth noting that the border city, which is located next to Syria, is inhabited by a large number of refugees.
In previous posts on social media, Umit Ozdag, head of the opposition party “Zefar”, had threatened that he would plant mines to prevent refugees from entering the city.
On his visit to the city, he was prevented from entering it by the Turkish police, and the city governor presented the following statement:
“He announced for two days that he would lay mines on the borders of Hatay, and said that he would lay mines in the social dynamics of our ancient city of Hatay, which is a symbol of brotherhood and tolerance, where people from all walks of life live side by side.Necessary measures have been taken by our governor’s office in order to ensure public order and security, and to ensure peace within the powers granted by laws, so as not to cause irreparable accidents to all groups and individuals who come to our city.”
