Turkish Relief Agency IHH: The killing of the young man, Fares Al-Ali, caused terror for half a million Syrian children in Turkey
IHH President Bulent Yildirim commented on the killing of Faris Al-Ali by a number of racist Turkish youths.
Yildirim said: “Around half a million children residing in Turkey are afraid to go to school because of violent and hate speech.”
The Humanitarian Relief Authority mourned the Syrian youth, Faris Muhammad Al-Ali (17 years), after he was killed by Turkish citizens, who was stabbed to death in the city of Narlja in the state of Hatay.
This is after a quarrel with a Turkish woman in one of the city’s factories, after the young man accidentally collided with her while working.
The authority said in a tweet on its Twitter account, “Faris Muhammad Al-Ali; One of our Syrian orphans, he grew up in the Al-Rihaniya complex for orphan care until he finished high school this year with distinction, and was accepted to study at the Faculty of Medicine. He was killed by a group that attacked him in Hatay province, southern Turkey.”
The humanitarian organization added, “We strongly condemn this attack, and we pray for mercy for our deceased, and we ask God to give patience to his relatives.”
Faris Muhammad Al-Ali, a student at the College of Medicine, was stabbed when he was leaving a soccer game, as six people, including the children of the woman he had previously bumped into at his
workplace, attacked him and stabbed him, causing his death.
It is worth noting that Turkish Interior Minister Suleiman Soylu contacted the young man’s family and expressed his condemnation of the collective attack on the Syrian youth, stressing that the most severe penalties will be imposed against the criminals.
